SU-CASA Artists
A Program of the Lower Manhattan Cultural council // Spring 2026
For the second year in a row, the after-image has been named a SU-CASA Artist by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Throughout April & May, Zahydé and Amy have been facilitating bi-weekly, collaborative theater-making workshops at the STAR Older Adult Center in Washington Heights.
From initial improvisation, to script writing, to rehearsing and performing, participants have been involved in every facet of co-creating a short play titled, Fiesta en el Parque // Party in the Park. Set to premiere on May 28th, this original new play follows a vanished thermos of coffee and the group of friends that attempt to solve the mystery, only to uncover what matters most.
Workshop series culminating in closing performance on May 28, 2026 @ 11AM
